Cmon guys use Twitter!

What is Twitter? It's a really useful application online that you can use to see what you and your friends are doing. A tweet (Twitter message) is a message on what you are doing (For example, eating dinner) that consists of 150 characters and less.

So if your friends tweet "Eating dinner", you'll see this:

Bob: Eating dinner

on Twitter. Or let's use a more practical example: "Doing homework

Joe: Doing art. Really frustrated.
Bob: Eating dinner

That way you can keep up with your friends even if they're off MSN or something and you can see what's happening.

Some people may ask *Ahem* is this MSN? I'd rather use MSN instead to talk. No. This isn't MSN. This is like a short status thing where your friends can see. For example if you don't see your friends on MSN or something, they'd probably Twitter about where they were going or something like that.

So join now: Twitter. (A very good explanation is on it's homepage.)

Post your Twitter accounts in the comments area so we can follow each other and be synced. My twitter is FyreVortex.

Nail Polish Dilemma x 10^27

The Nail Polish Dilemma.

Dun dun duuuuuuuun.

So. This is Juliet Benjamyn, those of you reading know who I am from the name, title and probably the writing style as well.

I did a little experiment during the last week before the mid-term holidays.

I, JB, put on black nail polish on all 10 of my fingers.

As you can imagine, black nail polish should stand out a lot and attract attention and comment from teachers (and students).

After the experiment, here are the results:

Students to notice: Almost everyone.

Teachers to notice and comment: 1.

That's right. Only one. That teacher is the lovely Ms. G. The drama teacher. I'm not posting her name here. That's something else I do: NO REAL NAMES PLEASE.

Thanks.

Conclusion?

It's weird, is it not? Considering the rule they have about no make-up and no nail polish. Lots of girls in year 10, 11, and 9 even wear makeup. I don't know any one who's been demerited for that.

xo, Juliet.
